So, how does Katy Perry feel now that Taylor Swift may be taking the Super Bowl Halftime Show crown from her? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details!
Taylor Swift, 25, is the frontrunner for the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is pretty interesting since her frenemy, Katy Perry, 30, stole the show in 2015. It is no surprise that Katy would have an opinion on Taylor’s potential new gig, and yes, HollywoodLife.com knows EXACTLY what that is!
Hmm. Can you imagine Taylor replacing Katy as the next big Super Bowl Halftime performer? There’s a really big chance it’s going to happen, whether or not Katy likes the idea. And, of course, HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY report that Katy definitely does not like the idea.
“Katy is not surprised that the NFL would want Taylor to be a part of the show and if she ever does it she is in no rush to watch it,” a source close to the singer tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Katy‘s feelings are, good luck topping her performance because Katy believes she killed it this year and Taylor or anyone that does it will have an uphill battle ahead of them.”
Wow! Katy sure is confident that her 2015 performance is better than anything Taylor could come up with. As you might remember, Katy even used the performance as an opportunity to throw major shade at Taylor by dressing her dancers in the “Black Space” singer’s signature polka dot bikini. If Taylor performs in 2016, she’ll have a chance to retaliate!
