Amber Heard, 29, looked absolutely gorgeous at the premiere for her movie Magic Mike XXL. Her beauty look is perfect for a summer date night — get her glam squad’s top tips right here.
Celebrity hairstylist Peter Butler used Leonor Greyl products to create her sexy hairstyle. He told HollywoodLife.com readers how to get the look:
“Tonight, Amber is wearing a low-cut sleeveless dress by Monique Lhuillier. It’s a really beautiful deep purple, amethyst color that’s very Hollywood, so we decided to leave her hair down and do something like a cross between Jerry Hall and Veronica Lake, super sexy for the Magic Mike XXL premiere.
I started with her hair damp and applied Leonor Greyl Serum de Soie Sublimateur on the ends. Her ends are highlighted and more delicate so when blown out, blonde hair like that can look dry when it’s really not. The serum really helps to keep the hair looking healthy and shiny. Then I applied Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice from the roots to the end and did a full blow dry. To add more volume at the top, I sprayed Voluforme into her roots.
Amber has finer hair, so I used a medium barrel curling iron and created really classic, loose waves set with a side part. I created the curls by first wrapping her hair around the curling iron away from the face in smaller sections for a more spiral curl. Then, after the curls had cooled, I brushed them out with a wide tooth comb to break apart the curls a bit. The look is super classic and glam and that’s who she is. To lock in the look but keep it so that her hair was still touchable and movable, I finished by misting her whole head with Leonor Greyl Laque Souple. She looks amazing!”
Amber Heard’s Skincare & Makeup
Makeup artist Melanie Inglessis used Kate Somerville skincare for Amber’s flawless face:
“I started by preparing Amber’s skin with Kate Somerville Quench Hydrating Face Serum, which feels so luxurious and silky on the skin and provides instant hydration. I let it sit on the skin for a minute then sprayed a little rose water over it and blotted the excess with a tissue. Next, I applied Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturizer to create a beautiful, hydrated complexion.
As a makeup base, I used Kate Somerville IllumiKate CC Cream. This CC cream is perfect for someone who needs just a little coverage but maximum protection with a high SPF of 50. I powdered the T-zone only, as I wanted Amber to have a glow, with Make Up For Ever HD Loose Powder. I added a little freshness to the look by applying a cream blush in coral/pink, just on the apple of the cheeks.
For Amber’s smoldering smoky eyes, I started with Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream, shade 14, which is a deep burgundy. I applied it all over the eyelids with a flat brush, blotting over the crease and the bottom lash line.
Using a crease brush, I worked the crease back and forth with YSL Ombres Duo Lumieres #33. The burgundy color is vibrant and has some shimmer in it which makes it easy to blend. After creating depth in the lid, I brought the color under the bottom lash line to create a smoky look.
I dabbed Make Up For Ever Poudre Irisee/Star Powder just in the center of the lid to catch that light and finished with two coats of black mascara on top and bottom lashes. I left lips a very pretty, natural color, drawn with Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil in Nude Beige and topped with By Terry Rose Balm.”
