Courtney Love, 50, was left terrified in the backseat of her Uber car outside of an airport in Paris, France when a mob of taxi drivers attacked the vehicle. Not only did the mob stop Uber cars filled with passengers from leaving the airport, but they used metal bats to attack the cars. Courtney caught some of the terrifying moments on video, and you have to see how it all went down.
Can you imagine landing in Paris, France for an exciting vacation and ending up smack in the middle of a political strike over Uber cars? No, of course you can’t, and that’s why what happened to Courtney Love is so crazy. Not only did she get trapped by a mob of angry taxi drivers, but she was also forced to ditch her Uber all together to make a clean getaway.
It all started when Courtney shared a photo on Instagram that looks like a car window covered in egg. In the caption she revealed that it was the “scariest day” of her life, explaining that she was “ambushed” at the airport and that her first Uber car was “destroyed” by the angry taxi drivers.
Next she shared a video of the aftermath, and you can clearly see that her second Uber car is surrounded by drivers who are yelling in French. On top of that, they are banging on the windows and trying to open the doors as Courtney sits in the backseat stunned. Check out the video below:
Thankfully, Courtney and her friend managed to make a great escape with the help of two Parisian bikers. In a third photo she shows her excitement over finally getting away from the dangerous strike, posing happily with the two bikers who helped her to freedom. Unfortunately, the caption reveals that even while she was leaving on the bikes the taxi drivers threw rocks at her until she was gone. So scary!
