Ever since her debut as ‘Vanity Fair’s July 2015 cover girl, Caitlyn Jenner has become a hot commodity in Hollywood. ABC was hoping she’d take a turn competing on ‘DWTS,’ like Kim and Rob Kardashian have done before her. But will she? Find out!
Caitlyn Jenner, 65, made a huge impact when she introduced herself as a woman on the July 2015 cover of Vanity Fair. ABC execs took notice and they want her to compete on Dancing With The Stars. Unfortunately, they’ve hit a few road blocks while negotiating a deal with Caitlyn. Find out what’s currently sitting in the way of Caitlyn shaking her groove thing on the dance floor!
“DWTS is losing hope on getting Caitlyn for the show. The offer was made, but scheduling, money and a few other bumps in the road are making producers feel that they should give up on their chase,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Bummer. We’re going to remain optimistic because we’d really love to see Caitlyn win that mirror ball trophy on DWTS! Our fingers are crossed for the I Am Cait star — let’s hope they can work something out.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Dancing With The Stars has been trying hard to get Caitlyn on the show for quite some time. “Their main focus is getting [her] on next season. That is the number one goal for the show,” a show insider told us in April.
Caitlyn is an Olympic gold-medalist, so she has a good shot at winning the mirror ball trophy — we just hope she gets the chance to do it!
However, Caitlyn’s rep tells HollywoodLife.com that she was never asked to be on the show. “Nope. Never was an option,” he told us EXCLUSIVELY.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you hoping to see Caitlyn compete on DWTS next season? Let us know!
