An innocent 2-month-old baby was found dead by his nanny back in Oct. 2014 at his $1.7 million home. Now, his parents and the sitter are under investigation after tests declared his cause of death to be shaken baby syndrome. So awful.
Ryan Dipede and Virginia Jamieson‘s son Hudson died on Oct. 17 2014, in Brooklyn, NY, while in the care of nanny Claire St Louis. The child and his twin brother Archer were born prematurely just two months prior and had only been home with their parents for four days at the time of Hudson’s death.
New York power couple, Ryan and Virginia are under investigation after they left their infant twins with a babysitter to go out to dinner and one child was found unconscious in his crib that evening, according to the NY Daily News.
Hudson had blood coming out of his nose and was rushed to Woodhull Medical Center. Sadly, it was too late, he was pronounced dead. So, so horrible.
Back in Oct. 2014 when the death occurred, cops did not initially believe the boy’s death was suspicious. He had health issues due to being born prematurely with his twin brother and there were no visible signs of trauma.
Hudson had spent his first two months in the hospital with his brother, before their parents were able to take them home. He had only been home for just four days when the incident took place.
Now months later, Ryan and Virginia are the focus of an NYPD homicide investigation along with their nanny. Test results have come back and revealed that little Hudson died of “abusive head trauma” brought on by shaken baby syndrome, according to the outlet. How awful.
As of right now, no one has been charged.
Our thoughts are with little Hudson and those affected by this awful news.
