Uh, bye. ‘Bachelorette’ star Kaitlyn Bristowe was none too pleased with former contestant Ian’s comments that she wasn’t exactly succeeding in her romantic prospects on the series, and she took to Snapchat to share a video message and speak out.
On the June 22 episode of The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe said farewell to contestant Ian Thomson in what could be somewhat described as a mutual breakup. However, it wasn’t exactly friendly, and Ian spent his entire ride home dissing Kaitlyn for being shallow while simultaneously pitching himself as the next Bachelor. Well, the following day in a Snapchat video, Kaitlyn shared some parting words that she had for Ian, including the request for someone to serve him up a big ol’ “humble pie.” Check out what else she had to say to the former contestant!
“Somebody bake Ian a humble pie,” Kaitlyn said in her video recap of The Bachelorette. “I mean, that guy. ‘Oooh, I go to Princeton. I’m so intelligent. I’m so well spoken. You’re so shallow, Kaitlyn — but my ex-girlfriend is way hotter than you,’” she said, mocking the Princeton graduate.
She didn’t stop there though, and she was completely unapologetic. “I don’t feel sorry for Ian because he’s probably going to be the next Bachelor,” she said. “Actually, they should do two Bachelors! Ian and Tony!” Well, there’s an idea.
Kaitlyn’s words for Ian were a bit harsh, but can’t say he doesn’t deserve them following that bratty car ride. Ian said, amongst other egregious comments, they don’t “teach cheesy music quotes at Princeton,” and (the kicker), “seeing how badly Kaitlyn’s been at being The Bachelorette, I feel like I know what it takes to be on The Bachelor.” Sure you do, Ian.
