Lamar Odom is overwhelmed with pain after two of his close friends passed away in the span of one week — he can’t even bring himself to go to either of their funerals and HollywoodLife has EXCLUSIVELY learned why.
Losing his friends was hard enough, but the thought of facing everyone at their funerals is just “too much” for Lamar Odom, 35, an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Find out exactly why Lamar plans to steer clear of Jamie Sangouthai and Bobby Heyward‘s funerals.
“Lamar knows now that life is too short. He knows it could have easily been him at the morgue and not his friends. He doesn’t know if he can see either of them dead. It’s just too much for him to handle,” an insider spilled to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Jamie is being cremated and the thought of it is just too much for Lamar. He can’t go back to NY and deal with Jamie’s family and his old friends. It’s just too painful,” another insider added.
“His family is encouraging him to attend Jamie and Bobby’s services. They think it would be the best thing for Lamar. It would help him get closure and he‘d be able to say his last words. And, most importantly, they’re hoping it will be a bone chilling reminder and a wake up call for him to know what can happen if he goes down that dark road,” the source continued.
In case you missed the sad news, Jamie, who appeared on the KUWTK spinoff Khloe & Lamar, passed away June 14 from symptoms “associated with drug use” — specifically Necrotizing Fasciitis and Chronic Intravenous Narcotism and less than a week after his death, Lamar’s other close friend Bobby Heward died of a reported drug overdose on June 20,
HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s ok for Lamar to skip Bobby and Jamie’s funerals? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
