Not only did Chris Pratt spend his Father’s Day weekend visiting a children’s hospital in Louisiana, but he re-enacted one of the most iconic scenes in his latest blockbuster, ‘Jurassic World.’ Click inside for more pics!
Chris Pratt, 36, might just have the biggest heart in Hollywood. Taking a break from his busy schedule, the big time movie star stopped at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to bring some much needed smiles to the patients faces. What a sweetheart!
Just when you thought Chris could not get any more perfect, he goes and proves you wrong. For what appears to be the third time in 2015 alone, the Jurassic World star delighted the patients, parents, and staff of a children’s hospital. On Saturday, June 20, the father of one spent his day off handing out toys, visiting sick children of all ages, and even taking a moment to re-create the intense raptor scene from his film!
As you can see in the photo above, Chris and three small children hit the hospital playroom to take the fun photo together. Chris acted as his character, Owen, and the three little kids got to be the ferocious raptors. So cool!
“Our patients were all smiles and we are so thankful to Chris for lifting their spirits by visiting and handing out Jurassic World goodies,” Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital wrote on Facebook, sharing 16 photos of the actor’s visit for their followers to see. In the photos, Chris can be seen signing multiple posters, doing arts and crafts, and visiting multiple children in their private rooms to hand out toys and show his support. He’s amazing!
However, one of the most touching photos was taken from afar, likely without the actor’s knowledge. It shows him sitting beside and chatting with a little boy, totally engrossed in a one-on-one conversation without any flashing lights or hovering cameras. You can see the genuine joy on both of their faces as they bond, and it’s overwhelmingly sweet to see.
