R.I.P. Kaitlyn? On the upcoming episode of ‘The Bachelorette,’ Kaitlyn Bristowe is playing dead– and she’s even having the guys help give her a wake. Gosh this show is getting strange. Check out a sneak peek!
Well, The Bachelorette has finally killed someone. Okay, not really, but on the June 22 episode, Kaitlyn Bristowe is going to be dead for the day, and it’s obviously going to be used as a challenge for all her potential suitors. In this sneak peek at the (kinda creepy) episode, we see Chris Harrison break the news that they’ll have to deliver a eulogy and, frankly, some of the guys seemed more worked up by that than if Kaitlyn had really died. Watch the clip now to see for yourself!
That Chris Harrison is such a jokester– though, does it count as a joke if it’s not at all funny? “We’re here to celebrate her life with a traditional Irish wake,” he informs the guys. So we cut to inside the church where Kaitlyn is really goin’ for this dead thing. Yup, she’s in a coffin. Oy. “I definitely meant for this to be a lighthearted thing,” she says in a cutaway. “I never want anything to upset anyone.”
Uh, then maybe don’t force the men who are essentially falling in love with you to imagine that you’ve died? Just a thought.
Someone who is upset? Ben Z, whose mother died when he was young, and he thus becomes pretty emotional while delivering his heartfelt words for Kaitlyn. It’s sweet, but again, it’s just pretty dang creepy.
What do you think of this particular exercise? Are you excited for the new episode?
