So sad. Bobby Heyward, one of Lamar Odom’s dear friends, shared a tribute to the late Jamie Sangouthai on Instagram, just 3 days before he died himself. Tragic.
Producer and writer Bobby Heyward, 30, was found dead of an alleged drug overdose in Los Angeles on June 20. The close friend of Lamar Odom, 35, was also friends with the recently deceased Jamie Sangouthai, and his last Instagram post happened to be a touching message to Jamie — posted only just a few days before he died himself. What a terrible situation all around.
From Bobby’s Instagram post, it was clear how much he cared for Jamie, and for all his friends — including Lamar, who is pictured smiling and in center of their Las Vegas-set adventure, dated September 2007. “#RIP To my big brother Jamie who always brought light into any room he walked into and laughter as well at all times J you will always be missed. Family for life. #BandOfBrothers #tbt,” Bobby captioned the photo.
It’s so upsetting to realize that just three days later, Bobby would be gone as well. Though it is thought that the talented producer, who served on shows like America’s Next Top Model and Sons of Hollywood, died of a drug overdose, the LA County Coroner’s Office has not confirmed his official cause of death yet. The news of Bobby’s passing comes just a week after it was revealed that Jamie had succumbed to necrotizing fasciitis and chronic intravenous narcotism as a result of drug use at the age of 37. Clearly it hit Lamar fiercely — and his other loved ones, including Bobby, hard as well.
We can’t imagine how hard it’s going to be for Lamar in the wake of Bobby’s passing after losing two wonderful friends in such a short period of time. Hopefully, he will continue to have Khloe Kardashian to lean on. We wish Lamar, as well as Bobby’s family and friends, the very best during this difficult time.
