‘Married at First Sight’ stars Ryan De Nino and Jessica Castro’s split is getting very ugly. Details have now surfaced about the threats which Ryan made to Jessica– and her family– and they are terrifying.
Following the second season finale of Married at First Sight on June 9, contestants Ryan De Nino, 29, and Jessica Castro, 30, were one of only two couples who decided to give their relationship a go and stay married. However, on June 13, Ryan posted an Instagram photo of what appeared to be a restraining order Jessica had filed against him. Now, we know more about why Jessica ordered Ryan to stay away from her: according to court documents, he had threatened both Jessica and her family.
In the documents, which were obtained by The New York Post, Jessica alleged that Ryan had told her, “I will break you into f—ing pieces. I will break your dad into pieces. I will make your whole family disappear — and your f—ing dog-ass sister’s boyfriend.”
Those violent and horrifying claims were made back in March after the series had wrapped filming. However, the terror doesn’t stop there. When Ryan and Jessica reunited for the series’ reunion episode in May, Ryan reportedly completely lost it again. The same documents allege that Ryan was heard saying, “She’s f—ing dead. When I get back to Brooklyn, she’s f—ing dead, this girl.”
The papers also detailed some of Ryan and Jessica’s breakup, which states that Jessica had caught Ryan cheating on her– on Valentine’s day no less. Ahead of the reunion, the show’s production company supplied Jessica with security, to protect her against Ryan’s threats.
While no verdict has been reached, Ryan has been ordered to stay away from Jessica. If convicted, he will face Family Court charges of harassment, stalking and menacing. In other words, bad news all around.
