Lamar Odom is still very emotional over the death Jamie Sangouthai. While grieving the loss of his best friend, Lamar rushed back to Los Angeles to deal with Jamie’s passing, according to a new report!
Our sympathies continue to go out to Lamar Odom. The 35-year old NBA star is still heartbroken over the sudden death of his best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, 37. One day after Jamie’s passing, Lamar reportedly jumped on a plane back to Los Angeles in order to properly process this horrible tragedy.
Lamar was reportedly seen leaving Las Vegas on June 15. The NBA star boarded a Delta flight back to L.A., according to RadarOnline.com. While Lamar was reportedly “personable” at the flight gate, sources told RadarOnline.com that Lamar is still “extremely emotional and upset about his friend dying.”
The grieving Lamar was up front about why he was headed back to California, as sources told RadarOnline.com that Lamar reportedly told one other passenger that he was “flying home because a friend died.” Poor Lamar!
Jamie passed away on Jun 14 from a reported heroin overdose, though at this time, the cause of his death has not been released. Lamar’s wife, Khloe Kardashian, broke the news with a devastated message on Twitter, posting “when does it stop? RIP Jamie Sangouthai.” Jamie’s friends and fans publicly mourned his death, and Khloe herself broke down in tears over the news. Sadly, Jamie’s drug problems were featured on Khloe & Lamar when he appeared on the reality television series. To see him lose out on the struggle is just so depressing.
We hope that Lamar is doing all right as he flies back to Los Angeles. Lamar has been really distraught over Jamie’s passing, because he and his best friend had a falling out before Jamie died. “Lamar cut him off completely,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com. “Lamar thought it was for the best, as Jamie was really struggling and looking for enablers. Now, Lamar doesn’t know if he made the right decision.”
Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Jamie’s friends and family.
