Kristen Stewart has been thrust back into the spotlight following her mother’s interview which allegedly outed her relationship with Alicia Cargile and HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that she’s NOT happy about it.
Keeping a low profile is something Kristen Stewart, 25, is good at, but on June 13, her mom gave an interview where she reportedly confirmed her daughter and Alicia Cargile are in fact dating and Kristen is very upset, an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY — find out more!
“It’s very upsetting for Kristen because she hates having the spotlight on her personal life. She’s been living a relatively anonymous life, at least when you compare it to what she went through with Rob, so this feels like a big step backwards. She can’t wait for it to be over and for people to leave her alone again,” an insider spilled to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Kristen was thrust back into the spotlight again when an interview was published by The Sunday Mirror on June 13, in which Kristen’s mom allegedly told a reporter that her daughter is dating Alicia Cargile. “What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy. I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl,” she reportedly said. She also allegedly added that she supports Kristen no matter who she loves.
Since that interview was released, Kristen’s mom has made a public statement claiming she never said any of those things, but the reporter, Sharon Feinstein, has denied her claims.
“I am aware that Ms. Jules Stewart has stated that her interview with me has been used out of context, that she never discussed her daughter or her daughter’s relationship,” Sharon told HollywoodLife.com in a statement. “That is simply incorrect. I have reported the story as discussed and memorialized during our lengthy and cordial formal interview, which took place on Thursday 11th June. I am disappointed and saddened by her statements to the contrary. This was a very positive story and one told by a loving parent. Any statements to the contrary are simply not supported and not true.”
