This is so heartbreaking. Khloe Kardashian’s BFF, Malika Haqq, took to Instagram on June 14 to share an emotional message after the death of their pal, Jamie Sangouthai. Read it here.
“Thru good times and bad times life shows us every spirit matters and elves a print on the hearts of others after they have passed,” alongside a photo of herself, Jamie, Khloe and Lamar Odom. “RIP Jamie Sangouthai #GodHelpUsAll.”
Jamie and Malika got super close when Khloe and Lamar were still married, and as the couple’s best pals, were regular stars on the reality show Khloe & Lamar. Jamie and Lamar were super close, and the former NBA star has yet to comment on the tragic news.
A few hours later, Malika returned to social media with another message that gave us chills and really put things into perspective.. “It’s been a season of stress, pain, grieving and unexplainable events,” she wrote. “I will not question God. I am working on my own character and decisions. Join me: Believe in the ones you love, ask for help, let go of pride and give forgiveness a chance, hold a hand a little longer, tell your true feelings to everyone because LIFE IS PRECIOUS!” (SEE HER INSTAGRAM POSTS BELOW).
At just 37 years old, Jamie passed away on June 14 of a reported heroin overdose, according to TMZ. He was taken to the hospital after a 911 call, and eventually died. His alleged drug problems were part of a recurring storyline on Khloe & Lamar, but as of now, the official cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Khloe also made a statement of her own regarding Jamie’s death, by sharing a sad photo of a cartoon woman crying and looking distressed. “Life doesn’t get easier but I promise you that life will make you stronger,” she wrote, adding a kissing lips emoji. So sad.
On Twitter, she also posted a series of broken heart emojis and crying faces, adding, “When does it stop RIP Jamie Sangouthai.” Our thoughts are with Khloe, Lamar Malika and all of Jamie’s family and friends as they cope with this difficult news.
