Talk about a ringing endorsement! Ahead of the big premiere of MTV’s new thriller series, ‘Scream,’ Bella Thorne is talking EXCLUSIVELY to us about her terrifying new role– and its lack of clothing!
We are so close to the premiere of MTV’s Scream, the modernized TV take on the classic 1996 film. Ahead of the series’ June 30 debut, we asked star Bella Thorne, 17, about playing such an iconic role and her character’s future. The redheaded beauty shared with us EXCLUSIVELY what is was like to bear it (almost) all, and what she had to say might surprise you!
“This is the most I’ve ever shown on camera,” Bella shared with us EXCLUSIVELY about her revealing Scream scenes. “but I have done movies where I show as much, they just haven’t come out yet.” Well, color us intrigued!
“In Amityville Horror, which is coming out this year, I’m in panties most of the film,” she added. “It was interesting. I grew up in modeling. We changed on the beach. I’ve never been a girl that’s super, ‘oh don’t look at me,’ or super self-conscious or anything like that. I really just don’t care. Honestly, it’s chill. I’m wearing a bathing suit. You wear a bathing suit. Everybody sees you in one. It’s really not that big a deal.”
Such a positive outlook! It’s so great to hear that Bella is so secure– and why shouldn’t she be?
Anyways, for those who have seen Scream, you know that Bella’s character (spoiler!) is the first to get killed. However, just because she gets axed (uh, perhaps literally) in the first episode, that doesn’t mean there’s no chance for her to return to the series. “I can’t neccesairly say, but I’m pretty sure there’s a good chance [I’ll return in flashback],” Bella said. “I’m the Nina. I’m the mean, terrible Nina. I really hope thought that they can make my character a tiny bit more likeable. You always see in this that she’s very mean. I don’t know why people give me the mean roles. I’m not mean. All the roles that I’m doing now, I’m not mean. I was like I’m done with the mean roles now guys. Let’s move on to something else please!”
Well, Bella, as far as we’re concerned you can play every role ever, and we’ll pay money to see it!
Are you excited to see Bella’s more provocative roles?
