Major whoa — ‘The Brady Bunch’ was just as entertaining off-screen as it was on-screen! Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady on the classic sitcom, revealed some juicy details about which cast members hooked up. You won’t believe it!
Cindy Brady of The Brady Bunch once said, “I’m not a snitcher; I just tell it like it is.” Clearly, Susan Olsen shares the same mindset as her character years later, because the actress, now 53, opened up in a new interview about all the off-screen cast hookups that went down. Let’s just say you’re in for a huge treat. Find out all the juicy details!
Remember the adorable little tattletale Cindy was? Looks like things really haven’t changed since we last saw Susan on the beloved 70s sitcom because she held back nothing! When Susan was asked if any of the kids hooked up while filming, she told news.com.au, “I think all of us did. We led a sheltered life for part of the year, so if there was anybody to get a crush on or try to date, it would be our counterparts.” It gets better.
“I had Mike Lookinland (Bobby Brady) and we used to make out in the doghouse when we were nine,” Susan claimed, adding, “Eve [Plumb] always had a crush on Chris [Knight]; they did kind of hook up later on.” Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Nothing was off limits to Susan, because she also spoke of Barry Williams’ (Greg Brady) notorious crush on his TV mom, Florence Henderson. “Of course there was Maureen (Marcia Brady) and Barry, but Barry really wanted to hook up with Florence,” Susan added. “But Florence kept that very platonic.”
Our heads are exploding! It’s making us a bit nostalgic for the classic sitcom, and we can’t wait to re-watch the show and see if we can pick up on any… chemistry! The Brady Bunch ran from 1969-1974, and centered on a large family after two widowed people married.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Which hookup are you most shocked by? Are you stunned that Susan decided to spill these secrets? Tell us below!
