Lies! Kanye called into Hot 97 on June 11 to deny reports that he threw kids out of a Chuck E. Cheese in Los Angeles so North could have the place to herself. He’s never even been there before! Click to LISTEN to the full interview!
Kanye West, 38, is throwing some shade Chuck E. Cheese’s way. The rapper has shot down rumors that he threw kids out of the restaurant so that daughter North West, 1, could play by herself. During a radio interview with New York’s Hot 97, Yeezus went out his way to make sure everyone knew he did NOT step into the kid-friendly restaurant recently.
It was reported that Kanye asked his security detail to remove 60 kids from a Los Angeles Chuck E. Cheese because Kim believes that “North likes to play by herself.” But the hip-hop star denied the story by calling into the radio station on June 11, and then went on attack!
“I haven’t even been to Chuck E. Cheese, but I’m glad that I heard that, so I could intercept it,” Kanye said. He also added, “First of all, they should be paying me to even say their name. I’m trying to stay off the carbs, I don’t even eat pizza! What am I going to do at a Chuck E. Cheese?”
“It’s a bunch of rumors that just adds to the excitement, but I’m just living my life, man,” he continued. “I’m having a good time. I’m with my family, I’m getting the opportunity to create, work on my clothes, work on my films, work on Donda, the next album, work on the art project and deliver the innovation that I know I can, and I consistently have done since 808s and Dark Fantasy. I can’t walk around trying to defend myself, chime in on everything, like y’all be calling my daughter’s name weird, like her name should be some name you’ve heard before. I don’t like to say something’s weird when it’s innovative and fresh.”
Kanye West & Kim Kardashian: The Movie?
The buzzed-about couple has three big movie companies interested in a potential story about their lives, claimed a new report. “I doubt we are talking about an Oscar-worthy production with high artistic merit,” a Universal executive allegedly explained to the UK newspaper Metro. “But with almost 45 million Twitter followers between them, they have a worldwide fan base which virtually guarantees box office success followed by strong DVD sales.”
