‘Zootopia’ Trailer: Animals Run The World In Disney’s New Movie — Watch

Another day, another genius creation from the masterminds at Disney! A first trailer for their latest, ‘Zootopia,’ has just been released and it’ll have you howling with laughter!

From the team that brought us Frozen (so we already know it’s gonna be amazing) comes the newest gem from Disney animation, Zootopia. This one though, instead of focusing upon princesses and ice queens, will be a little less human-oriented. In fact, there won’t be any humans at all! The film, which will hit theaters on Mar. 4, 2016, is billed as nothing we’ve ever seen before (actually, it’s “be-fur”), and after watching this trailer, can’t say we disagree! Check it out now!

“In the world of Zootopia, humans never happened,” it is said by a smooth talking fox (voiced by Jason Bateman!) as the trailer begins. “A modern, civilized world, that is entirely animal.”

That modern civility means the animals in this film won’t be our classic Disney mammals. Nope, these animals wear clothes and use cell phones and have respectable jobs and purpose in the world. Oh, it also means they have civil disputes with one another, as evidenced by Fox’s ill-advised decision to trip a passing Rabbit who turns out to be a cop.

The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other, according to an official description. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited for Zootopia?
