Kanye West is a momma’s boy at heart. The rapper paid tribute to his late mother Donda West in his newly released music video for ‘U Mad’ with Vic Mensa — see the video and Kanye’s sweet gesture below.
Vic Mensa‘s new music video for ‘U Mad’ featuring Kanye West, 38, dropped on June 10 and it’s GOOD! Don’t let the dark lighting and aggressive lyrics fool you, Kanye actually shows his soft side in the vid, wearing a shirt with his late mother, Donda’s, name on it — so heartwarming.
“I grew up on Kanye West’s music and Jay Z’s music, but specifically in the case of Kanye, I’m from Chicago, I’m from the Southside, so I think there’s a [different] level that we can communicate on. There’s an understanding of certain things that not everybody on the street is gonna have, because I know the same streets that he grew up on in a different era. I know the next generation of that.”
Fans flocked to Twitter to share their love for the new music video!
