Uh-oh — Nicki Minaj is put on blast by her ex, Safaree Samuels, in his new song ‘Love The Most.’ Safaree totally disses Nicki on the leaked track, accusing her of cheating and revealing much more about their relationship. Ouch!
Safaree Samuels is airing out all of Nicki Minaj’s, 32, dirty laundry. The pair broke up in 2014 after 12 years together, but Nicki had no problem moving on with rapper Meek Mill — and her ex isn’t happy about how things went down. Hear him rap about it on his new track “Love The Most.”
Safaree really goes in on “The Night Is Still Young” rapper, saying that their relationship was “12 years up in flames,” and admitting that in old pictures, “I’ll be smiling but inside I’m really sad.” But his biggest shots fired regarded alleged infidelity and drug use.
“Life revolved around the beat, show me a man that won’t cheat? Said I was overreacting but you did like…” he sings. He also references Nicki’s steamy kiss with Nas in their video for “Right By My Side.” “Had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it’s all cool. Inside I was feeling like a m—–f—ing fool.” Whoa, that’s intense! (CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO THE SONG).
Safaree also alleges that Nicki had a problem with prescription pills, adding, “I know I’m not perfect, you was paying all the bills, you remember what you told me when you wasn’t on them pills?” Plus, he sadly admits he thought the duo would have had a kid together during their relationship, which obviously didn’t happen.
The split between these two was incredibly tumultuous, with each rapper blasting each other after the break up last year. But it didn’t take long for Nicki to move on with Meek, and in April, she even revealed on social media that they were engaged, and showed off her massive, heart-shaped ring!
But, shockingly, in a recent interview for the June/July 2015 issue of Fader Magazine, Meek actually shot down rumors that he and Nicki were set to walk down the aisle. “I ain’t engaged,” he told the mag. “It’s definitely real. But it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”
One week after the interview was released, speculation about trouble in the couple’s relationship was fueled once again when both stars posted Instagram photos with cryptic captions. “Even bosses got feelings ya know?” Meek wrote, while Nicki was a little more straightforward with her comment: “Thank God ya blew it!!! Thank God I dodged the bullet!!!!”
Neither Nicki or Meek has confirmed a split, but we haven’t seen them together since, so things aren’t looking great. Hopefully they can figure out away to work things out!
