Okay, what CAN’T he do? At the after party for ‘Jurassic World’s Los Angeles premiere, Chris Pratt hopped on stage to perform ‘Margaritaville’ with legendary singer, Jimmy Buffett! Click inside to WATCH!
Chris Pratt, 35, sure knows how to celebrate in style! Not only did he get to premiere his latest hit, Jurassic World, surrounded by friends, family, and his loving wife, Anna Faris, 38, but he also totally stole the show at the film’s after party! Jimmy Buffett, 68, was the live entertainment for the evening, and he closed the show by performing the classic “Margaritaville” — with some help from Chris!
He’s a huge movie star, a successful TV actor, and incredibly hot — but even Chris Pratt has to admit that performing with Jimmy Buffett is deserves a top spot in his list of greatest accomplishments. Somehow, the star found himself front and center on stage next to Jimmy at the Jurassic World after party on Wednesday night, June 9, to perform for a very excited crowd.
Chris was assigned by Jimmy to sing back up throughout the song, and he pulled out his phone to record the once in a lifetime experience. Plus, Jimmy changed some of the lyrics to include Raptors and other dinosaur-related things. During the performance, Chris made sure to show some love to his co-star, Bryce Dallas Howard, who was singing and dancing along in the crowd. Aw!
Thankfully, Chris is no stranger to singing live. As many of his fans already know, his Parks and Recreation character Andy Dwyer was the lead singer of a band (occasionally) called Mouse Rat. For the finale party, Chris pulled out his trusty guitar and performed for the cast and crew.
Fun fact: There’s a Margaritaville inside Jurassic World on Isla Nublar! There’s also a Starbucks, but that’s not really relevant.
Oh, and we should also mention that Frank Marshall — a producer for Jurassic World and the upcoming Indiana Jones film that Chris is rumored to be a frontrunner for — was also on stage for the performance. Geez, Chris! That’s one heck of a way to schmooze your way into your next big role.
