The Chicago Blackhawks were in the zone for Game 4 of the 2015 Stanley Cup Final on June 10. As the Blackhawks and Lightning went head to head in a heated game at the home of the Lightning, the Blackhawks proved that they were not going to let the Lightning get in their way of winning the Stanley Cup. It’s official: the battle for the Stanley Cup is on.

Chicago won Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final by just one point, 2-1, after holding strong throughout the night. No goals were scored in the first period, but the Hawks fought back in the second period, Jonathan Toews scoring on a wrist shot with assists from Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa. The Lightning tied the game up at 1-1 just minutes after, Alex Killorn also scoring on a wrist shot with assists from Valtteri Filppula and Steven Stamkos. The third period was one of the most intense in the game as both teams eagerly worked to defend their goals, but the Hawks came out on top when Brandon Saad scored a major backhand goal with an assist from Patrick Kane.

The Blackhawks started off the Stanley Cup series strong, winning the first game 2-1. However, the Lightning struck back in games two and three, and while the Hawks were able to put up a good fight, Tampa was able to crush them with tons of fast plays. Now, everything is changing.

The Blackhawks had their fight face on during Game 4, and they proved to their loyal fans that they will not let the Lightning take them down. In fact, it’s still possible they can come out on top now that the series is tied 2-2. Both teams are putting up a fight and we can’t wait to find out the outcome. May the best team win!

The Lightning and Blackhawks will next face off on June 13 in Tampa.
