Caitlyn Jenner isn’t just loving her physical transformation, she is proud of the doctors who made it all possible! The two renowned surgeons who performed the multiple plastic surgery procedures on Caitlyn, Dr. Gary Alter and Dr. Harrison Lee are speaking out about the full day surgery.
Caitlyn Jenner, 65, looks fabulous on her Vanity Fair July cover but it was made possible by her remarkable doctors, Dr. Gary J. Alter and Dr. Harrison H. Lee who are breaking their silence in a new interview about the arduous surgery that “took all day” on March 15, 2015. They reveal that it was indeed “stressful” because they knew the whole world but be critiquing the outcome but they say Caitlyn recovered “fabulously” and they find her facial feminization to be “beautiful” and exactly what they all hoped for.
The doctors spoke out to the New York Daily News and Dr. Alter revealed: “She’s extremely happy with the results, and we are too. I thought she looked absolutely beautiful. She healed fabulously. She was a very quick healer.” The doctors performed all the surgeries in Beverly Hills four months ago and they said it was a very complicated and long surgery. “The surgery took all day,” D. Alter continued. “We knew it would be a long procedure and everything was planned ahead of time, and we’re very fortunate that everything has gone very well.” Dr, Lee added: “I entered (the surgery) with some trepidation of course. I figured it was gonna be very challenging because of her celebrity status and the fact that she’s going to finally expose herself for (who) she is, and it’ll be one of the most judged faces on the planet.”
Caitlyn told Vanity Fair that when she got home she began to have a panic attack and was worried she had made a mistake undergoing such intense surgeries: “What did I just do?” she asked herself. “What did I just do to myself?” She says though she has no regrets: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,’” she explained. “‘You never dealt with yourself,’ and I don’t want that to happen.”
HollywoodLifers, are you going to watch her new docuseries “I Am Cait” when it premieres this summer?
