The odds are finally in our favor, you guys! A first trailer has finally been released for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’– and we’ve got it for you right here!

This is not a drill: On June 9, after being teased with the cryptic date 6/9 by cast members Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is finally available for us to feast our eyes and ears upon. The film, which will drop in full on Nov. 20, is the last in the franchise and, judging from this trailer, it might be the most insane yet! Check out the sneak peek right now!

“Nothing good is safe while Snow’s alive,” Katniss says, at the start of this thrilling first trailer.

“And I can’t make another speech about it,” she adds. “Snow has to pay for what he’s done.” From the looks of it, she means what she’s saying and is prepared to stop at nothing to get there– even destroying the capitol.

“We all have one enemy,” she screams, at the top of her lungs. “He corrupts everyone and everything.” So intense!

A ‘Mockingjay’ Trailer At Last

While we are of course grateful to now have a substantial look at the newest Hunger Games installment, we have to say, it didn’t come easy! In fact, we’ve been getting some torturous teasers for the film for months now.

For starters, we were treated to the solemn and disturbing (though, not at all revealing, plot wise) portraits of Katniss (JLaw) and Primrose (Willow Shields). The photo was gorgeous, but left us wanting more. Much more.

Next, bringing our need for a substantial peak at the film to levels bordering on uncontrollable, Jennifer herself posted a photo on Facebook of herself, alongside Gale (Liam Hemsworth) as well as Messalla (Evan Ross) and Finnick (Sam Claflin). Again the picture got us excited, but just made us desperate to see more.

Finally, in what had to have been an attempt to kill us, one of the film’s producers posted a photo on June 5, straight from the filming of the all-important epilogue scene. Most of the nation was completely obscured by sun, but you could just barely make out the silhouettes of Katniss and Peeta.

In other words, we have earned this trailer! What do you guys think of it? Are you excited for the new installment?
