For those of you who aren’t aware what Jurassic World is about, it picks up over 20 years after the first film began. Everything seems perfect, but that is until, of course, mankind gets involved. Here’s the film’s synopsis:
Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.
One of the most exciting aspects of the fourth film in the installment is the “new attraction,” the Indominus Rex. The gigantic and terrifying dinosaur can be seen in the trailer above, and looks like everyone’s worst paleo nightmare. Now the question is, can Chris Pratt save the world from this man-made monster? I guess we’ll find out on June 12!
