Kate Moss may not be racking up those frequent flyer miles if she keeps this up! The iconic supermodel was escorted off her flight from Turkey to England by police, after crew members on the airplane accused her of ‘disruptive’ behavior. Here’s the scoop!
Kate Moss, 41, appears to have had a great weekend…and it looks like she wanted to continue the party on her flight home after celebrating a friend’s birthday in Turkey over the weekend! She reportedly got a bit out-of-hand on the airplane, and the pilot had to call police to escort her off when the plane landed in England. Now, a fellow passenger is dishing on just what went down.
“She called the pilot a ‘basic bi—‘ as police led her off the plane,” a witness tells Daily Mail. “She was a little drunk and had a disagreement with another passenger on the flight, as she was refused alcohol and then went to serve her own vodka from her cabin luggage.”
When Kate’s flight landed, Bedfordshire police officers were waiting to escort her off the flight, but the consequences didn’t go any further than that. “We were called to assist staff in escorting a passenger from a fight arriving into Luton airport this afternoon,” a spokesperson confirmed. “The passenger had been reported as being disruptive on the flight. Officers attended and escorted the passenger from the plane. No formal complaints were made against her and she was not arrested.”
But, according to the eyewitness, the whole thing really wasn’t even a big deal. “She was not aggressive to anyone and was funny, really,” Daily Mail’s source explains. “The EasyJet crew was acting out of proportion.” So, yeah, this definitely seems like one of those things that may be forgotten pretty quickly! Girl was just trying to have some fun, right!?
This incident comes less than two weeks after photos from Kate’s new fall campaign for My Burberry fragrance was released. For the campaign, she teams up with fellow British supermodel, Cara Delevingne, and the ladies look totally seductive while cozying up to one another in white t-shirts to promote the product.
“This is the first time I’ve worked with Mango and having Kate as my partner in crime is ideal,” Cara gushed. “I admire her personally and professionally. She represents a true fashion icon. It is a privilege to learn to to share this experience with her. This shoot has been epic. It’s always fun when Ms. Moss is around.”
Hmm…perhaps Cara should’ve been on that flight, then! HollywoodLifers, tell us — do you think Kate should’ve gotten escored off the plane?
