Whoa. U.S. soccer superstar Hope Solo allegedly lashed out at police during her 2014 domestic violence arrest, reportedly telling a cop, ‘You’re such a bitch. You’re scared of me because you know that if the handcuffs were off I’d kick your ass.’ And that’s not all.
New police documents, pertaining to Hope Solo‘s 2014 domestic violence arrest, have been released and they don’t paint the U.S. soccer superstar in the best light. Hope, 33, allegedly called one of the arresting officers a “bitch” and said she’d like to kick his “ass.”
Hope allegedly appeared to be drunk when she was arrested, the documents, which were obtained by ESPN, claim. She was allegedly yelling profanities, repeatedly insulted officers, and demanded to be called Mrs. Stevens (she’s married to ex-NFL star Jerramy Stevens), according to TMZ.
Furthermore, “during the fingerprinting of Mrs. Stevens she made numerous statements that I was not worth anything and should be proud to have such authority,” a police officer wrote in the report. Also, Hope allegedly suggested two jailers were having sex and called another officer a “14-year-old boy.”
ESPN asked Hope’s lawyer for a comment on the shocking report and they were told: “Any of us would be upset at being wrongly arrested.” Her lawyer also claims Hope was not drunk, but instead her behavior was consistent with someone who suffered a “significant head injury.”
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Hope was arrested in Seattle in 2014, when she allegedly attacked family members at her half-sister’s home. The case was initially dismissed, according to TMZ, but prosecutors filed an appeal and are scheduled to file their argument by July 13th.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you shocked that Hope Solo called a cop a “bitch”? Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel!
