Kendall and Kylie, he’s sorry. Chris Brown apologized to the Jenner girls for calling their dad a ‘science project’ in an insulting meme, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. Find out all the details on how Breezy corrected his mistake.
Chris Brown, 26, has apologized to Kendall, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 17, after dissing their father, Caitlyn Jenner, 65, by labeling him a “science project,” HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal. The R&B singer made the move shortly after sharing an Instagram meme with his followers, which insulted the former Olympian.
“Chris reached out to Kendall and Kylie to apologize, saying he didn’t mean to hurt anyone and that it was nothing personal against Caitlyn, who he considers incredibly brave,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “The girls accepted his apology, and everyone is moving on. Kendall and Kylie certainly arent going to hold a grudge and they feel he just made a simple mistake.”
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Chris reposted a transphobic meme, which was originally shared by Snoop Dogg, 43, on June 3. It asked why rapper Akon’s charity work hasn’t been talked about as much as Caitlyn’s transition. The meme read: “Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 Africans with solar power. Im really upset that this isnt but that science project bruce jenner is #Society.” The post was met with complaints from fans, including Kylie, who slammed him for it. Chris later deleted the meme, realizing he had done harm and hurt his friends, but the damage was already done.
Kendall was so “disappointed” after Chris shared the Instagram meme. She just felt that Chris should’ve known better, according to a source.
“Kendall was as disappointed as Kylie was when she saw the meme that Chris had shared with his followers,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Because he’s a family friend, Kendall felt that Chris should’ve been a little more understanding. She thought that he’d let himself and her friends down.”
We’re happy to hear that Chris has since apologized and they’re all moving forward.
