Princess Charlotte made her very first appearance on the day she was born, cradled in her parents’ arms outside of St. Mary’s Hospital. But per royal tradition, she also posed for her very first official portrait, just like Prince George did after he was born. See it, along with three other pics, here!
Princess Charlotte may only be five weeks old, but she already posed for her first official portrait! Her royal photo was revealed on June 6, along with three other pics, and the little princess looks absolutely regal in the sweet pics with her brother, Prince George!
While we caught a glimpse of the new princess as she left the hospital with her parents on May 2, we’re so happy to finally be getting a closer look at the new royal baby! Princess Charlotte posed with her brother, as mom Kate Middleton snapped the pics in mid-May, Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account confirmed.
The new photos are so precious! In the sweet pics, Prince George is seen looking at his baby sister adoringly, as she’s gazing out into the world. And we love Prince George’s knee-high socks! In one shot, Prince George even gives his little sister a sweet kiss on her head. That’s the first time a royal heir has ever been photographed kissing a younger sibling! This is just another example of the royals being even more real than ever.
And how can we not mention their outfits! Prince George is wearing a white button-up shirt with blue trim, along with blue shorts and socks, as we mentioned above. Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, seems to be wearing a white knit sweater with a frill neckline, as well as white knit bottoms — it might even be half of a onesie. So cute!
The official portrait is the one seen above. But to see the rest of the pictures, click through our gallery underneath. Following the release of Prince Charlotte’s new photos, she will next be seen at her christening at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on July 5.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you love the new royal baby’s first official portrait?
