Happy Birthday, Mark Wahlberg! Marky Mark has paved quite a remarkable career in Hollywood, and he’s not slowing down anytime soon. The actor turned 44 on June 5, and has much more to celebrate with his exciting year ahead.
Mark Wahlberg, 44, may be another year older, but we have to say he still looks better than ever. Marks impressive work in films like The Departed, Ted, and Entourage were what initially catapulted Mark into superstardom. Luckily for us, we will be seeing more of Mark in the coming months. Coming up in Mark’s exciting year ahead we first have Ted 2. Yep, he’s back guys! The talking teddy bear will be back on June 26. This time around, Ted is tying the knot, and planning on creating a family with his wife. Of course, this doesn’t go as planned. In order to have kids, Ted has to go to court to face a judge to prove he’s human before he’s allowed actually have kids. Oh my, we can’t wait for this one!
Next up, we’ve learned Mark has been given the green light for a Christmas release date for a new comedy, Daddy’s Home. Along with Mark, the film stars the hilarious, Will Ferrell, 47. Ah, such exciting projects on the way for Mark.
It wasn’t always blockbuster hits for Mark though! Mark started his career in 1992 as a model where he went by the name of Marky Mark. It was during this time Mark landed his provocative Calvin Klein ad with the iconic, Kate Moss, 41. Mark dived deeper into the world of acting in 1994, where he starred in Renaissance Man, alongside Danny DeVito. The years that followed were filled with many films that helped perfect the actors craft before he’d end up landing his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
A big part of Mark’s career has been the Entourage franchise. As he executive produced the series, he also was a major part of making the latest movie happen that debuted May 27. “I always felt like there was going to be a movie down the line,” Wahlberg revealed to abc7. “People always complained that the show, the series, ended too soon, and the episodes were too short, and they always wanted more.” Cheers to another year older, Mark.
