Kris Jenner has been silent ever since her ex-husband’s ‘Vanity Fair’ cover made its debut but she stepped out with her daughters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to catch a U2 concert in LA, June 4! In the article, Kris and Caitlyn had very different opinions on why their marriage ended in divorce and Kris called Caitlyn ‘passive aggressive.’
Kris Jenner doesn’t come across as supportive as everyone would have hoped in the 33-page Vanity Fair article debuting Caitlyn Jenner. The momager has laid pretty low in the midst of the media frenzy surrounding the exciting welcome of Caitlyn but she did emerge from her Calabasas mansion, June 4 to catch U2‘s sold out show at The Forum in LA with her bestie, Shelli Azoff, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.
Kris wore her usual black and white ensemble to the concert and showed little emotion as she chatted with Kourtney outside the venue. It’s been a pretty tough week for Kris, considering she came across pretty negatively in the Vanity Fair article about Caitlyn’s transition from male to female. In the article Caitlyn said: “The first 15 years I felt [Kris] needed me more because I was the breadwinner. Then, really around [the time of KUWTK], when that hit and she was running the whole show and getting credit for it and she had her own money, she didn’t need me as much from that standpoint … I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. A lot of times she wasn’t very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money, all that kind of stuff.”
It was nice to see Kendall there at the concert with her mom, especially since her schedule is so busy these days. It appears they were there celebrating Kris’ bestie, Shelli’s birthday at the concert because they all took to social media earlier in the day to post things about their longtime friend. But they probably couldn’t help but discuss the article that has made major headlines this week and especially Kris’ part where she says, “Bruce” not telling her about his feelings of wanting to become a woman was very “passive aggressive.”
“He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable…,” she told Vanity Fair. “All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was pissed off. At the end of my relationship with Bruce, he definitely had a lot of social anxiety… That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end. [The divorce was the] most passive-aggressive thing I think I’ve ever experienced.” Kris has still yet to comment publicly about Caitlyn’s cover, meanwhile all of her children have.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kris should say something about Bruce’s cover?
