What if dinosaurs still roamed the earth you might wonder? ‘The Good Dinosaur’ will answer that question! Pixar debuted the very first trailer for the upcoming animated film on June 2 and it looks epic! Watch here.

Have no fear, The Good Dinosaur trailer is here — and now we can find out what would have happened if that asteroid didn’t hit earth millions of years ago, wiping out the dinosaurs. Pixar’s upcoming animated film is definitely worth getting excited about, exploring a remarkable story of what would happen if dinosaurs were still on earth today.

The trailer begins in outer space, showing the asteroid six miles wide headed for Earth which, as we know, destroyed the dinosaurs. But instead of striking Earth, it passes right through the sky — and the dinosaurs casually go back to grazing on grass! Whoa.

And that ladies and gentleman, is the magical story Pixar is bringing us this coming November. Plus, we get a peek at the lead character, a green apatosaurus named Arlo. Though we don’t get to see any humans in the trailer, we can definitely look forward to seeing dinosaurs and humans interact! The summary of the film on IMDB says:

After a traumatic event unsettles a lively Apatosaurus named Arlo, he sets out on a remarkable journey, gaining an unlikely companion along the way – a human boy.

The Pete Sohn directed film received high praise when it premiered at Cannes Film Festival in May, and we cannot wait! Plus, the cast is pretty spectacular, including Lucas Neff Judy GreerNeil Patrick Harris, and Bill Hader, just to name a few!

The film is slated to hit theaters on Nov. 25.
