So shocking. A newly released police report details how Josh Duggar allegedly snuck into his sisters, Jessa and Jill’s, room at night, when he was a teenager in 2002, and touched their breasts and vaginal areas while they were sleeping. Find out all the horrific details here.
19 Kids & Counting‘s most popular sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar have identified themselves as two of Josh Duggar‘s molestation victims in a new interview, which will air on FOX News on June 3 at 9 p.m. E.T. As detailed in a new police report, when Josh, 27, was a teen, he allegedly snuck into their room at night and touched their breasts and vaginal areas. Jessa, 22, and Jill, 24, who are both married and have children, will appear on The Kelly File, where they’ll discuss the molestation scandal.
The Kelly File host Megyn Kelly has been promoting her sit-down interview with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar all week, but it was just revealed today, June 3, that Jessa and Jill will also be appearing on the special. While police reports have hidden the victims’ identities, Jessa and Jill admitted during the interview that they were molested by Josh, Us Weekly claims.
“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life… I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption,” Josh wrote on the family’s Facebook page after it was revealed on May 21 that he had molested five girls in 2002, when he was a teen.
Kelly’s interview will be the first time the family is speaking out — in a television interview, that is — about the family’s secret. “We will sit down with Megyn Kelly on Fox News to share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago, the tears we all shed and the forgiveness that was given,” Jim Bob and Michelle said on Facebook. “We appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers for our family at this time.”
Josh Duggar’s Molestation Confession Revealed In New Police Report
In the newly released police report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and obtained by In Touch Weekly, it reveals that Josh’s parents waited 16 months before telling authorities about their son’s actions. Josh had actually confessed on three separate occasions to at least seven acts of sexual molestation against his sisters and a family friend. Had the statute of limitations not expired, Jim Bob and Michelle could have faced six years in prison for their decision to withhold the startling information.
UPDATE: Jim Bob & Michelle admitted to Fox News that Josh in fact molested four of his sisters and the fifth victim was a babysitter.
