So scary. Young Money rapper Widner ‘Flow’ Degruy is allegedly wanted in connection with the double homicide of two brothers, according to a new report. Find out all the details.
Louisiana police reportedly obtained a warrant for the arrest of Young Money rapper, Widner ‘Flow’ Degruy, 23, on June 2. The rapper would reportedly face two charges of second degree murder for killing brothers, Kendrick, 22, and Kendred Bishop, 18, who were shot to death on May 25 in New Orleans.
Kendrick and Kendred were both found fatally shot inside a black Kia sedan during the early hours of May 25, The Times-Picayune reports. The New Orleans Police Department told the outlet that a surveillance video showed the rapper and an unidentified suspect “possibly running from the scene and making a purchase at a nearby store.”
“I heard those gunshots about 5:30, five gunshots,” a man who refused to be identified told the outlet. “I just went back to sleep.” So scary. A motive for the shooting has not yet been released.
This is not the first time Flow has had a run-in with the police. In July 2013, he was booked with attempted first-degree murder and two counts of armed robbery in Chalmette, Louisiana, but fled to California after arrest warrants claimed he shot at someone and missed. However, the charges were dropped after the victim didn’t show up to court, according to HotNewHipHop.com.
Flow signed to Lil Wayne‘s record label, Young Money Entertainment in 2012. The rapper was on Lil Wayne’s 2012 mixtape, Dedication 4, according to Young Money’s official website. He is slated to be working on a project called Withdrawalz.
