Kim Kardashian stopped at nothing to make sure her dreams of becoming a second-time mom came true. After struggling to conceive again, the reality queen finally got pregnant. However, she and Kanye are preparing for a high-risk delivery. We have all the deets!
Kim Kardashian, 34, and Kanye West, 37, didn’t anticipate how hard it would be to have another baby. After major complications during her pregnancy with North West, 23 months, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and her hubby are expecting the same, if not worse, problems the second time around — according to a new report. Read on for the latest on Kim’s pregnancy dilemma!
An insider tells People that the power couple are awaiting a high-risk delivery “but are prepared. It’s been a long road, and they are just so thankful to the doctors because they said she would never conceive again.”
The mag’s source also reveals that this pregnancy will also probably be Kim’s last attempt at having a baby due to the series of complications she’s already experienced. The brunette beauty’s initial pregnancy with North resulted in a dangerous delivery, stemming from preeclampsia — a potentially harmful condition where a woman’s blood pressure significantly increases during pregnancy. In addition, Kim was also afflicted by placenta accreta, where blood vessels from the placenta grow into the uterine wall and remain attached. Yikes!
After two rounds of IVF, Kim is happily pregnant, but already having a tough time again.“I have the worst morning sickness, day sickness, night sickness,” she said on June 1 at the CFDA Awards. Until her little one arrives this December, the 34-year-old is focusing on remaining healthy.“She’s trying to rest and doing what she can to not get preeclampsia again, but there’s a chance she might,” says the same source.
