Caitlyn! It’s the name every person can’t stop talking about now that Bruce Jenner has taken on the moniker, introducing his new female identity. The former Olympian loves her new name, but what do Kendall and Kylie think about it?
The grand debut of Bruce Jenner, 65, as a woman was truly breathtaking. As Caitlyn Jenner, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is not only stunning, but able to live life as her “true self.” Caitlyn’s teen daughters, Kendall Jenner, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 17, have been more than supportive of their father’s transition, but what are their true feelings about Bruce’s new name? HollywoodLife.com has all the EXCLUSIVE scoop!
“Kendall and Kylie think the name is cute and are just so thrilled their father loved a name so much, since this will be the identity for the rest of her life,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Even the Kardashian girls love the name!” Ditto, ladies. We love Caitlyn, too!
“Everyone is going to wonder why she didn’t spell it with a ‘K,’ but the name Caitlyn was a thing for Bruce before he even met Kris Jenner and the Kardashian family,” the insider explains. “She also thought spelling it with a ‘K’ would come off really cheesy.” We have to agree — Caitlyn spelled with a “C” adds a touch of class, don’t you think?
Bruce’s transformation into Caitlyn is quite a monumental moment for the entire transgender community — and Kendall and Kylie are making sure their voices are being heard loud and clear, advocating for such an important event in their dad’s life. The brunette beauties gave Caitlyn some love on social media in two touching posts.
Kendall uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of Caitlyn’s shoot for her July 2015 Vanity Fair cover, accompanied by an encouraging caption: “now that’s a cover.” Kylie shared Caitlyn’s cover girl moment with her 25.1 million followers and sweetly said, “My angel on earth! #caitlyn.”
