Caitlyn Jenner’s Hair & Makeup On ‘Vanity Fair’ — Retro Waves & Shiny Lips

Mon, June 1, 2015 1:51pm EDT by Dory Larrabee 1 Comment

Simply gorgeous! For her first public introduction, Caitlyn Jenner graces the cover of ‘Vanity Fair’ with long lashes, glossy lips and gorgeous curls.

Our first look at Caitlyn Jenner, 65, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, did not disappoint in any way, and has fans, family and celebs Tweeting her praises! She looks absolutely gorgeous in the photos, shot by Annie Leibovitz for the July 2015 issue. Read the details on her hair and makeup below!

Caitlyn’s makeup was done by Mark Carrasquillo. Mark does a lot of high fashion advertising campaigns and has worked for magazines like Vogue in the past.

Caitlyn’s hair was styled by Oribe. The look was centered around old Hollywood-style, retro curls. Oribe is seen brushing and styling her hair during the photo shoot in a behind-the-scenes video — watch it above.

I can image that Oribe used his Dry Texturizing Spray, which provides volume and texture into any style. It absorbs oils and leaves hair shiny and healthy-looking.

Although you can’t see her nails on the cover, inside the magazine, we get a glimpse at Caitlyn’s red polish, which were painted by celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann.

Caitlyn Jenner Speaks Out For The First Time

On the cover of Vanity Fair, the headline is “Call Me Caitlyn.”

Seconds after the cover was posted online, a verified Twitter account appeared. Caitlyn tweeted on June 1: “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”

We can’t wait to see and hear more from Caitlyn!
