HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY found out why Nia Guzman turned down Chris Brown’s sweet gesture to take Royalty to Disney World for her first birthday. Her reason for saying ‘no’ will definitely surprise you!

It’s turning into a huge game of he said, she said between Chris Brown, 26 and Nia Guzman. Nia rejected Chris’ offer to have Royalty’s first birthday party at Disney World, but HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that she had a good reason for doing so. It’s not that Nia thinks the gesture wasn’t nice of Chris, it just came a little too late for her. Here’s the scoop.

“Royalty’s birthday is May 27,” a source told HollywoodLife.com. “That was the day Christopher needed to show up and do something for her birthday. Nia’s world doesn’t revolve around Chris and his daughter’s shouldn’t either. For Chris to offer things after the fact to accommodate his schedule and time is just selfish. Nia thinks he’s a day late and a dollar short!”

Now that Chris and Nia are battling over child support payments for Royalty, things between them are getting a lot less amicable. We know Nia was upset when Chris didn’t show up for Royalty’s first birthday party in Houston, but it turns out he was busy working on a music video in Florida. However, his Disney World offer may have added fuel to her fury.

The one-year-old ended up having her party at a Chuck E. Cheese, and she seemed to have a great time. Chris is also reportedly planning on throwing her a special party when he’s finished working. We really hope that Chris and Nia can work things out for the sake of Royalty. HollywoodLife.com has reached out for comment.

Chris Brown Posts Sweet Pic Of Royalty On Her Birthday

Chris may not have been with his daughter on her birthday, but he let the world know he was thinking of her! He posted an adorable pic of Royalty covered in cake wearing a sparkly “1” shirt! Earlier in the day, Chris posted a sweet message about Royalty with the caption: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LIL LADY ROYALTY!!!! I Love u.”

Even though Chris couldn’t be with Royalty on her birthday, we are so glad that he’s committed to being in her life one way or another!
