Praise this day! Luminous superstar and vocal goddess Kelly Clarkson has just released the music video for her hit single ‘Invincible’ and it will have you feeling empowered and awesome. Check it out now!

Forever indebted to Kelly Clarkson! On May 29, the original American Idol winner dropped the brand new music video for her song “Invincible” and, per Kelly tradition, it is anthemic and epic. The single is the latest from her albumPiece by Piece, which dropped in February, and it might just be our favorite single yet (okay, obviously we say that every time, but that’s how good this lady is). Watch the super gorgeous video right now!

In the dreamy vid, we start off staring at an illuminated box, gravitating above ground in a few different settings (somewhat Close Encounters of the Third Kind, to be honest). We see the floating square on an urban rooftop, a beach and in a gorgeous garden. We then cut to Kelly and, in keeping with the box theme, she’s in an enclosed, warehouse thingy.

And then, hallelujah, she starts to sing! She looks absolutely gorgeous, wearing a dark ensemble, complete with a floral shawl. She builds the song up with signature flare until we get to the chorus, which is when things explode– literally!

We go back to that beach setting, where we once again see the glowing box. Finally, Kelly gets to the all-important word, “Invincible,” and the box literally explodes from the inside out, sending shining bits into the atmosphere.

Believe it or not, the video gets even cooler from there. We jump from scene to scene, focusing upon various young women, all of whom are drastically different from one another, all of whom are totally gorgeous and empowered. The whole thing ends with Kelly surrounded by each woman, all of ’em rocking out in sheer awesomeness.  What an amazing video with an even more amazing message!

What do you think of Kelly’s “Invincible” music video?
