It has happened. Batman is officially appearing in ‘Suicide Squad’– and we’ve now got a first look at the Dark Knight on set. Trust us, it does not disappoint.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you your dreams can’t become a reality. Case in point: Batman appearing in Suicide Squad. Though rumors have circulated for some time that Ben Affleck‘s take on Batman might appear in the highly anticipated film (slated for an August, 2016 release), we now have photo and video proof that the Dark Knight will appear in the film! Check out a first official photo of Batman in action as well as some footage from the set. You better prepare yourself, because it is epic.

Batman Spotted On The Set Of ‘Suicide Squad’

Thanks to the Internet, pics from the set of Suicide Squad have been leaking left and right. And the latest sneak peek to make its way into the public might just be the best one yet (for us anyways. Sorry, producers).

On May 27, legions of fans gathered on the streets of Toronto, where the movie is filming, in order to observe Batman himself making an appearance on set– and appear he did. The masked superhero was seen riding on top of the Joker’s purple car, in total badassery.

Here’s the thing, though: While Ben has been seen around Toronto recently (fueling the fire that he will star in Suicide Squad), he was not the one filming those gravity-defying scenes. Rather, the person seen on set was likely Ben’s stunt double.

Still, though, it’s exciting news on its own to know that Batman will appear in Suicide Squad in some capacity. Adding to our anticipation, an Instagram account for the film posted a first photo of the Dark Knight in action and, well, we’ll let it speak for itself.

Getting to the good stuff. Check out the photo below!

What do you think of Batman’s Suicide Squad appearance? Are you excited that he’s going to appear in the film?
