Calling your video a ‘car crash’ is not normally a good thing, but The Weeknd is not your normal R&B singer. Click to watch the explosive video for his brand new song, ‘The Hills.’

Remember to always wear your seat belt! The Weeknd, 25, just released a video along with his hot new single, “The Hills.” The track is pretty sexy but the video is frightening, as the “Earned It” singer barely survives a horrific car crash! Or…did he? You’ll have to watch it and decide for yourself!

The Weeknd’s ‘The Hills’ Music Video: R&B Singer Nearly Dies In Car Wreck

The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) dropped both the video on May 27. In the video, the “Live For” vocalist starts off upside down and it just gets crazier from there.

Weeknd stumbles out the door of an upturned car. He’s bloodied and upset, but not at mad as the two other women who were in the car crash with him. The Weeknd stumbles down the street, singing the song about getting with a girl, crooning such lyrics like:

“Your man on the road, he doing promos / you said keep our business on the low-low / I just wanna get you out out the friend-zone / Cause you look even better than the photos.”

Huh. Interesting. The slow track does have a sexy vibe to it, but there’s something dangerous about the singer. He might just be the kind of guy who’d wreck a car with two other women in it — just like the video! The vid really helps capture this dark, sinister feeling, with Weeknd spending most of it in the shadows.

But then, explosions! After the car goes up in flames, The Weeknd finds himself in a strange house and what he discovers up stairs will leave you with more questions than answers.
