Chris Brown’s got some drama with his baby’s mama! Nia Guzman is reportedly going after Breezy for more child support. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE on how Chris is happy to pay Royalty’s bills — but not Nia’s!
Aww. Things seemed to be going well for Chris Brown, 26, and Nia Guzman. Royalty’s parents were getting along until her mother reportedly demanded more child support money from Breezy. Now, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Chris is down to pay for his little girl, but bankrolling Nia and her boyfriend? Chris thinks she can get a job.
Chris Brown on Royalty’s Child Support: He Won’t Fund Nia’s Lifestyle
“[Chris] knows that she has bills to pay out there in Texas,” an inside source tells HollywoodLife.com, “and that’s why he sends her money even when Royalty’s with him.”
“What he’s not going to do,” the source added, “is send his hard earned money to Nia so she can buy clothes and take care of her lazy boyfriend!”
Ouch! Snap. Chris reportedly stopped giving Nia $2,500 a month back in March when she demanded that Breezy pay $15,000 instead. Since then, things have been rough between these two. It’s not like Chris doesn’t have money to spare. Chris’s wallet is fat, but he doesn’t think he needs to be Nia’s ATM, especially when he’s the one taking care of Royalty.
“Chris doesn’t feel like he needs to give Nia every cent of the $2,500 when Royalty’s with him and [his mother],” sources EXCLUSIVELY tell HollywoodLife.com. “To him, that doesn’t make sense. If Chris has her for a month or so, there’s no need to give Nia all that money.”
Chris may need to run that past a lawyer, but we can see how he can think that. For the last two month, Chris has been spending “virtually all his time with Royalty,” sources tell HollywoodLife.com. He even brought her to an award show, walking his daughter on the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards.
Though Chris is reportedly not paying now, it sounds like he’s willing to cover the costs involved in raising Royalty. However, sources say that Breezy wants Nia to pitch in, and that includes “having a regular, steady income.”
While Chris’s problems with Nia might just be starting, he quickly squashed his beef with Tyson Beckford over Karrueche Tran. After Tyson and Chris exchanged some scary tweets and photos online, Chris cooled things down by apologizing. “No drama!” Chris tweeted. “People are really starting to make this s—t an issue. I can be a real one and say that I was wrong for even pressing an issue.”
What do you think about Chris and Nia, HollywoodLifers? Should he pay more? Should Nia pitch in more?
