Ducks fly together!! Emilio Estevez took on the persona of his ‘Mighty Ducks’ character Gordon Bombay to cheer the Anaheim Ducks on during their May 25 playoff game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Twitter. You have to read his epic messages!

This is so amazing! Emilio Estevez, 53, supported the Anaheim Ducks during their big playoff game on May 25 by getting into character as Coach Gordon Bombay, who he played in the 90’s Mighty Ducks trilogy. The actor made several references to the beloved movie while live-tweeting the game, and the fans were loving it! Chicago Blackhawks fans, though? Not so much!

The games between the Ducks and Hawks has been incredible, and with the series tied 2-2, Monday’s game was a big one. Emilio began tweeting before the game began, wishing his team luck as they played to get one step closer to the Stanley Cup.

But as the night continued, his tweets got more and more epic, featuring inspirational messages, just like Coach Bombay pulled out back in the day. Check out the tweets here:

And his tweets must’ve worked, too, because the Ducks pulled out an IMPRESSIVE win just 45 seconds into overtime! They now lead the series 3-2, and just have to win one more game against the Blackhawks to make it to the Stanley Cup finals!
