Oh no he didn’t! Drake is NOT happy with Madonna’s recent diss about their Coachella kiss and he just fired back in a major way — he changed his song lyric from ‘Madonna’ to ‘Rihanna’ in front of thousands of people at his concert!
This means war! During his concert in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center on May 24, Drake, 28, changed the lyrics of his song “Madonna,” clearly throwing shade at the legend. When he said “Rihanna,” instead, the crowd went wild! You have to watch the video!
Drake Changed ‘Madonna’ Lyric To ‘Rihanna’ During Concert — Major Shade?
Instead of saying Madonna’s name in the first verse, which was the original lyric, Drake said Rihanna’s name! I mean, the song IS called “Madonna” — how could he?!
We wonder if he will change the lyrics permanently going forward or if he was just trying to take a little jab at the music icon.
In case you missed it, the two shared an on-stage kiss at Coachella Festival in April 2015 and Drake immediately turned around and wiped his mouth after their saliva swapping sesh — eww!
The reason why Drake is so salty is because of Madonna’s recent diss during a radio interview on May 4. When asked about her epic kiss with Drake at Coachella, she responded, “I kissed a girl, and I liked it.”
Did she call Drake a girl? WTF? Oh and it gets worse! Madonna continued to throw shade later in the interview, when another caller asked what advice she would give to her younger self. “Don’t kiss Drake,” she admitted. “No matter how many times he begs you to.”
Ok, we get it now. Drake’s ego must have been a bit bruised after those comments!
HollywoodLifers, do you think it was messed up for Drake to change his lyrics or are you all for it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
