One little girl made quite the first impression to President Obama when she threw a temper tantrum right in front of him during Passover dinner. See the hilarious pic here!
Well, that’s no way to greet the President! In a photo taken during Passover Seder in April 2015, feisty tot Claudia Chaudhary, 2, threw a massive temper tantrum pounding the White House carpet with her tiny fists as President Barack Obama, 53, looks on completely stunned!
Toddler Throws Tantrum In Front President Obama
The now world-famous toddler, who has become the latest meme, was captured by a White House photographer face down on the Red Room Parlor in the funny snap having a completely meltdown. Claudia was there with her father, Arun Chaudhary, President Obama’s videographer during his 2008 Presidential campaign, and mom Laura Moser. Amusingly, First Lady Michelle Obama, 51, looks just as bemused!
Claudia’s uncle, New York Times writer Benjamin Moser, said that his niece was left overwhelmed by the amount of people at the Passover Seder reception.
“She’s a very nice girl and not a brat or anything. She was just having a moment,” he told Daily Mail Online.
He also revealed that Claudia and her older brother Leo, 6, “grew up going to the White House” because their father worked for Obama’s 2008 campaign and is now part of the Commander-in-Chief’s administration.
Benjamin said that his family go to the White House every year for a special Passover Seder dinner.
In 2014, it was Leo who caused mayhem for White House staff by “running wild” during the pre-dinner reception, his uncle revealed. But it appears this year he’s been upstaged by his younger sister!
“They’re gonna do what they’re gonna do,” Benjamin divulged, adding that Obama was calm during the incident. “He is around kids a lot so he gets it.”
President Obama: Inside His Annual Passover Seder Dinner
At the annual dinner, the President and his guests chowed down on chicken soup with matzoh balls, beef brisket with sautéed onions, radishes and sweet potatoes. Yum! For dessert, they enjoyed a triple chocolate cake and a selection of macaroons.
Benjamin said the Passover dinner has become a staple after Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
“They were somewhere in Pennsylvania and all the Jewish kids got together and had Seder in the basement of some motel somewhere, and Senator Obama came down and joined them,” he said. “And instead of saying ‘Next year in Jerusalem’ it was ‘Next year in the White House.’”
What d’you think, HollywoodLifers? Would you want to celebrate Passover with Obama at the White House?
