Bring us back to Tree Hill! ‘OTH’ creator Mark Schwahn revealed that he would totally be down for a reunion if the cast could find a time to get together. Music to our ears!
Dreams do come true! One Tree Hill has been off the air since 2012, but it’s legacy still lives on. Executive producer Mark Schwahn, 48, talked all about the beloved CW drama in a new interview, and revealed that if he can get the “successful” cast together, he’s in love with the idea of having a reunion.
‘One Tree Hill’ Reunion: Creator Mark Schwahn Teases It Could Happen
Who else is missing Nathan, Lucas, Haley, Peyton, Brooke, and all the other Tree Hill characters? Everyone? Yeah, that’s what we thought! While Mark is busy with his new E! series, The Royals, One Tree Hill still lives on for him!
“This is what I love—everybody always pins it on me! They love to pin it on me, but here’s the truth: The cast has been very successful, and if you look around, they’re all doing great things, which I’m incredibly proud of. Get ‘em all in one place, and I’ll be there!” Mark told Glamour magazine.
Star wearing your Clothes Over Bros shirts again, and get ready! Of course, nothing is official yet but at least there’s hope of that possibility of a reunion in the future. Mark also talked about the fate of fan-favorite couple, Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) in the interview.
“They live overseas. Nathan was becoming a [sports] agent, so I think they travel a lot. I think the family is happy and he balances home and work,” Mark said, which restored our faith in Naley all over again.
A Mini ‘OTH’ Reunion Happened!
While we await an official reunion, we can go to bed happy knowing that the OTH cast is still tight. In fact, Mark, James, and Bryan Greenberg (who played Jake) posed for a pic together while supporting Bryan’s fouth annual Olevolos Project on May 16.
Bryan teased that a reunion could happen too, that is if Mark makes it happen. “This is the mastermind, you have to talk to him,” he said of Mark “Never say never! I never say never.”
Hear that, OTH fans? There’s still only one Tree Hill, and it’s still special in everyone’s hearts.
