What do you get when you combine the soothing sounds of Coldplay, with the violent deaths of ‘Game of Thrones’? ‘Game of Thrones: The Musical,’ of course. You need to see this!

You know you’d die to see a Game of Thrones musical– we all would. Thankfully, Coldplay has heard our (deep, dark secret) wishes, and gave us a gift beyond our wildest dreams. In honor of Red Nose Day, the internationally recognized day on May 21 to recognize children living in poverty, NBC aired a special benefit, filled to the brim with A-listers. One such A-lister was Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, who filled in for Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to slow jam a song all about the many deaths which have gone down in the nearly five seasons of his epic series.

Who would have thought that those devastating character deaths on Game of Thrones would make for such melodious tunes?

Well, it seems like Coldplay did! Instead of singing about waterfalls and/or the color yellow, for their charitable efforts to support Red Nose Day, they decided to make several of the demises on GoT musical!

The Musical Deaths On ‘Game Of Thrones’

Allow for us to provide some of the, uh, colorful lyrics for you:

“Remember Ned Stark, he was a lot of fun/But he didn’t make it past season 1”

“Robert Baratheon was part of that crew/But he never made it to season 2”

“The King of the North, was cool you said/Another favorite that ended up dead”

And finally, what is without a doubt the most epic line of the song, “You thought that Joffrey had to survive/He ain’t in the credits for season 5”

What do you think of Game of Thrones: The Musical? Would you see it?
