On a recent episode of ‘KUWTK’, Khloe got her butt lasered to reduce cellulite and stretch marks, but does this miracle laser really work? We asked an expert!

We can always count on the Kardashian Krew to give a crazy new beauty experiment a go. On a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian, 30, tried out a slightly terrifying-looking laser to treat cellulite on her butt. But what exactly does this laser treatment claim to do, and does it work? We asked the experts at Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center in Los Angeles for the lowdown.

Laser For Khloe Kardashian — Does It Remove Cellulite & Stretch Marks?

On a recent episode of KUWTK, Khloe bravely had her butt cellulite lasered, while sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner watched on as they hilariously enjoyed a plate of cookies. Khloe visited with Dr. Simon Ourian at Epione in Beverly Hills, but the experts at the BHR Center say the exact laser used was the Forma Plus by InMode. So if you’re looking to treat cellulite, we’ve got all the details on what to expect from this in-office treatment.

How it works: The treatment consists of a non-invasive laser that uses radio frequency technology to stimulate collagen and improve skin elasticity. It can be used to both prevent and treat wrinkles on the face as well as other areas of the body.

Sessions needed: The BHR Center recommends between five and eight sessions for optimum results, which can range from 10 to 90-minutes in length depending on where the laser is being used.

Side effects: The most typical side effects are discomfort, pain, redness and swelling, which go away after 24 hours. Other side effects can include blisters or burning on the skin, hyperpigmentation and scarring.

Cost: The price varies depending on what you choose to have treated and where you go. Typically, three sessions on a focus area will cost $600, while eight sessions on a larger area like the face (or butt in Khloe’s case) will set you back $3,000.

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Would you try the laser for yourself, or will you be joining Kim and Kendall on the sidelines?
