‘Batkid Begins’ Trailer: Miles Scott Defeats Cancer & Rescues Gotham

The trailer for ‘Batkid Begins’ shows how after Miles was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age, he found strength to fight for his life from all his favorite superheroes. When the Make-A-Wish foundation asked what he wanted to do most, he said he wanted to be Batman! With the help of thousands, San Francisco was turned into Gotham City and Miles was turned into Batkid!

Miles’s adventure was a media sensation, getting the applause and support from every single Batman actor, countless celebrities and even President Barack Obama!

Luckily, Miles’s story was captured on film and Dana Nachman released the very first preview of the documentary back in July 2014. The film was initially crowdfunded and has been making the independent film circuit ever since.

Thankfully, the movie is now set for a wide release and you can catch the story for yourself on June 26!

Batkid Miles Scott Saves Pitbull From The Joker At ‘GMA’

Batkid wasn’t just done when he saved San Francisco –eh, we mean, Gotham City – from the Riddler and the Penguin. While visiting the set of Good Morning America in Nov. 2013, he was called back into action when he had to rescue Pitbull from the nefarious clutches of The Joker! Batkid saved the day again and Mr. Worldwide was freed in time to perform.
