He might be everyone’s favorite movie star these days, but Chris Pratt remembers very well what it was like when his wife, Anna Faris, was the more famous of the pair. In fact, he totally blasts other actors for hitting on her right in front of him in a new interview!
Chris Pratt, 35, was not always the breadwinner in his marriage to actress Anna Faris, 38, who is best known for her comedic roles in the mid 2000’s. In a new interview with GQ, he recalls a time when Hollywood looked “right through” him as if he wasn’t there — especially when they were hitting on Anna. Yikes!
Chris Pratt: Actors Hit On Wife Anna Faris Before He Was Famous
Wow. In his revealing new interview with GQ‘s June 2015 issue, Chris shared that he remembers all of the actors that disrespected him before he was a huge movie star. In fact, he wants them to audition for one of his upcoming films!
“I’ve had those moments where I was like the guy holding the purse at events and people just looked right through me,” Chris explained. “And, you know, actors come up and just blatantly hit on my wife in front of me and don’t even look at me. I’m like, ‘What the f–k, dude?’ I can think of exactly who they are, too, and I hope they fucking audition for Guardians of the Galaxy.“
Even though Chris sounds like he wants to ring those guys necks, he was classy enough to name any of the actors who committed the crime. But, those guys should definitely watch their backs on the red carpet!
Thankfully, Anna never had any interest in those other guys, anyway. Chris, or the “guy holding the purse,” was the only one she ever needed!
Chris & Anna Are Perfect Soulmates
During a recent AMA on Reddit, Chris was asked about his romance with Anna and how they seem to stand the test of time. His answer was pretty simple: they were destined for each other!
“Anna and I are meant to be together. Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life,” Chris wrote. “She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in LA. We both got our start in horror spoofs. We both did an animated movie for Phil Lord and Chris Miller. We both made our careers playing guileless nitwits for laughs. We both have parents that have suffered with MS. The similarities go on and on.”
He also praised his soulmate for being his perfect match, writing: “Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love.” So sweet!
